iDaph Offers Businesses the Chance “DU the Corporate Challenge” at Asheville Duathlon
The Challenge
As an alluring addition to an already provocative multisport event, this challenge proffers you the chance to bring glory to your company’s good name and reputation. Participating in this challenge, whether as a soloist or alongside your colleagues, you will have the chance to earn prizes and awards. We further encourage large companies to have multiple teams as part of intra-organizational competitions to further up the ante.
For those wishing to do this, Corporate Challenge individual competitors will complete all three segments of the race themselves, and 3-person relay team members will complete one of three legs: Run #1, Bike Leg, or Run #2.
Purpose
This challenge is all about building relationships, strengthening your team’s work environment, and promoting health, fitness, and fun! Successful business operations are all about getting your team motivated, collaborating, and ready to approach every task with hard-nosed determination and gusto. With all the synergy and excitement you and your team have brought to the business arena, show us the mettle of your organization in the challenge. An event like this is a sure-fire way to bring you employees closer together, both in the race and in the office. It’s gonna be a time to have some clean fun, see your peers on a different level, inspire healthy competition, and a chance to earn some bragging rights. Whether you and your team pull Red Bull and coffee-powered all-nighters, or take a more conservative approach, all (legal) methods are welcome as you display your cohesion and camaraderie in this challenge.
Who Can “Du” the Corporate Challenge?
You may participate in this challenge as a soloist or alongside your colleagues, and we encourage large companies to have multiple teams (read “intra-organizational rivalry”) to further up the ante. Any company or club, profit or non-profit, may participate, and all full- and part-time employees are eligible for the challenge. Corporate Challenge individual competitors will complete all three segments of the race themselves, and 3-person relay team members will complete one of three legs: Run #1, Bike Leg, or Run #2.
SurPRIZEs, Awards, and Goodies, Oh My!
As a participant, any and all of the following will be yours for the taking:
- Fastest Competition (Awards for both individuals and relay teams)
- Most Participants (company with the most employees registered)
- Best-team spirit awards
- Costume contests for best company ‘themed’ teams
Ready & Willing?
Now’s the time to lay out your game plan and drive the ball down the field. Offer bonuses, give away reserved parking spaces, or even propose first picks on office donuts as performance incentives: just do whatever you’ve gotta do to take charge and fire up your crew for this challenge. We wanna see what the local business community members can do when asked to drop the Armani suits and stiff collars and slip into their athletic attire.
How to Get on Board
As you register for the Duathlon, simply be ready to enter your team name (if not going it alone) and company or club name on the race registration page at imATHLETE. If you think your team has what it takes, make this race your oyster: open it up and take the pearl that lay inside!
