Lung Buster Time Trial Results + Standings

Thank you to everyone that made it out to participate in the adventurous 4th Lung Buster Time Trial and also gave donations to Marlon Cleghorn, a local cyclist involved in a hit and run accident last week. A special thank you to WLOS for caring about Marlon and coming out to show their support at the event.

This event could not have happened without the support from the incredible Sycamore Cycles of Hendersonville and the CrossTown Velo Racing team! Thank you for keeping the event safe and for all the cool schwag for random participant prizes. We will have a drawing for the Sycamore Cycles giveaways and will post them our blog and Facebook page. Also, a thank you to West First Wood Fired for the pizza for volunteers And… finally a HUGE thanks to all the AWESOME volunteers that came out in force tonight and braved the storms. These events couldn’t be pulled off without all of you supporting these events, so thank you!

The cyclists and triathletes had extra challenging conditions this evening as thunderstorms blew in shortly after the event started. For any of you that missed your start time tonight because of the storms, we will get you hooked up for the Elk Mountain time trial in August.

The time trial series has two divisions – the time trial division and the merckx (standard bike) division. These divisions are scored separately. Congratulations to all the participants that braved the storms, dodged tree limbs and made it through to finish!
