Registration is NOW Open!
An endurance running event like none other, the Inaugural Jump Off Rock Half Marathon presented by Hunter Subaru, will be one of the fastest half marathon races in the south and will run “downhill to downtown.”
The point-to-point, half marathon begins at Jump off Rock, a national landmark and the Town of Laurel Park’s highest peak, and finishes in the heart of downtown Hendersonville on Main Street. This gently downhill and scenic 13.1 mile course is not only fast, it also has breathtaking views. Half Marathoners will wind their way downhill through the beautiful back-roads of Laurel Park then on historic city streets and around Hendersonville’s Osceola Lake before heading into downtown Hendersonville. The point-to-point race and the scenic course are sure to bring PRs and mountain memories to last a lifetime.
10k runners will start their race at the base of the Town of Laurel Park at the Hendersonville Family YMCA. They will join in on the half marathon route at about the half-way point with half marathoners. The 10k route is moderately flat with a couple gentle rollers. The 10k runners will run on historic city streets, around the Hendersonville’s Osceola Lake and back to downtown Hendersonville.
Both races will finish at the same location in Historic Downtown Hendersonville on Main Street.

The 2nd Annual Hendersonville Triathlon presented by Hunter Subaru is back at Patton Park and the YMCA Patton Park Pool in Hendersonville, NC! The event consists of 400m pool swim, 12.5 mile bike and 5k run! The run will use portions of the Oklawaha Greenway and Patton Park, City of Hendersonville’s largest park. The bike route will be on paved roads around Hendersonville secondary and tertiary roads. We look forward to being able to offer this fantastic multi-sport event to our triathlon community.
iDaph Events is excited to once again bring this popular fast & fun sprint triathlon to Asheville, NC! We are waiting to hear from the city of Asheville if they will open the pool this year. If they do not open the pool, we will move the race to Hendersonville to Patton Park.
The race consists of a beautiful outdoor pool swim in a 50 meter pool, rolling bike course and a flat and fast run course at the Asheville Recreation Park. This is the great event for every level of triathlete, from novice to elites. The pool swim is great for new swimmers & the run is a flat, ‘easy’ course to navigate. Elite athletes – get ready for a PR! This race is fast and is a huge hit among local elites. Note: We have submitted our permit application to the City of Asheville for the 2021 race. The event will take place in Asheville if the pool opens up this summer (this past year it stayed closed due to COVID and staffing issues). If it doesn’t open then we will move this event to Hendersonville, Patton Park again. We are excited to have this 2nd triathlon on our schedule for 2021 for our triathlon community!
This is the same event as the Summer Series except with different times, prizes, and swag! The Pop-up 5k in the Park Fall Series and Virtual Challenge is every 2nd and 4th Wednesday starting September 8th and running until October 27th. Due to the time change, runners can start at the rolling start line anytime from 5-6:30 pm.
