DONATE ART SUPPLIES!
We are collecting art supplies to donate to the Boys and Girls Club of Henderson County! Our goal is to collect 100 art supply items for the Club at this year’s Trick or Trail 5k on Saturday, October 22nd.
Let’s do this together!!
Art supplies needed the most at the Boys and Girls Club:
- Paint - Tempera, watercolor, etc
- Cardstock or construction paper
- Jewelry/craft beads
- Melty beads
- Ziploc bags
- No. 2 pencils
- Disinfectant wipes
- Tissues
- Band-aids
- Markers - Expo, Sharpie, Crayola, etc.
Help us support the Boys and Girls Club by bringing your supply donations to drop off at packet pickup on race morning!
What does the Henderson Counnty Boys and Girls Club do for our community?
For each young person who walks through our doors, we strive to provide an enriching Club experience that develops each child and assures success is within reach. We desire that all members are on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrate good character and citizenship, and live a healthy lifestyle.
The Boys & Girls Club’s mission: To inspire and enable young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens.
$25 – the average amount it costs per day to serve one member!
$52 – 52% of our youth live in single-adult households! Help these families have the mentorship and support they need this year!
$91 – 91% of our youth qualify for free, or reduced lunch.
$125 – the average weekly cost to serve one member!
