What’s it like to be George Hincapie for a day? Watch our video and find out.
One of the most well-known names in the cycling industry - George Hincapie - will be riding in the Gravel Grinder on Sunday, September 15th, as part of iDaph Event’s Asheville Off-Road Series at Biltmore Estate.
George competed 17 times in the Tour de France and won three U.S. National Road Race championships. He was a key domestique for Lance Armstrong, and a domestique for Cadel Evans and Alberto Contador, two pro-cyclists who went to win the Tour de France.
We recently met George at his hotel in Greenville, SC - Hotel Domestique - and shot a video of him to help promote our Gravel Grinder event. George was such a great sport; instead of shooting an average, run-of-the-mill type of shoot, we decided to show off the kind of baller lifestyle we think a pro-cyclist should have.
And since Wright Creative, Inc. was on the scene, you can bet there were smoke bombs and champagne involved.
We are super grateful for George and his time with us, and we can’t wait to watch him crush it in our Gravel Grinder event on Sunday. George will be riding with some other well-known cyclists that day, including pro-cyclist Chris Butler, and Bobby Julich. (Bobby won third overall in the Tour de France in 1998).
Get ready for another exciting Asheville Off-Road Series on September 15th. Prices go up September 11th at midnight, so if you haven’t signed up yet now is the time! The event includes 3 events in one day:

Come join us for this fun and challenging multi-sport event at Biltmore Estate! Please don’t think you have to keep up with the pros; these events are for all types of athletes and all levels of abilities.
