Run With Your Sweetheart

NEW FOR 2019!

New (2 Person) Partner Team Category!

The 27th Annual Frostbite race is during Valentines week! What better way to celebrate than to grab your sweetie and sign up for the new 2 person partner team competition.

The 5k Sweetheart Team Competition and 10k Valentine Team Competition categories give runners the opportunity to run with their significant other. Team participants are eligible for additional prizes & awards. When registering, select this option to be scored as an individual AND also scored as a team.

Team times will be combined and averaged for the fastest overall team times. Each team participant must register in the team category separately and then select the same team name to be paired up. Note: Both participants on the 2 person team must run in the same distance race. There is a 5k team option and a 10k team option.

We hope you had a spooktacular night!

Over 200 Participants ran in the one mile fun run and 5k run that brought an unforgettable family-fun, Halloween experience to the mountains of Western North Carolina. We had many characters in costume at the event. Pirates, galaxies, Where’s Waldo, and of course the 101 Dalmations were among the costumed participants. After the run everyone enjoyed yummy soup, hot drinks, snacks, and S’mores courtesy of Ingles while relaxing by the Fire Pits.

We would love for you to join us at our next family friendly, themed event on New Year’s Day - The Resolution Run/Walk 5k and 10 Mile Run in Downtown Asheville. Start the New Year off on the right foot and begin your new year with your first 3.1 or 10 miles on January 1st. For more information visit HERE. The event supports three incredible local organizations - Western Carolina Rescue Ministries, iDream Athletes Foundation, and the YMCA of Western North Carolina.

Dupont Forest: Guion Farm Event Area,
Hendersonville, NC

The 4th Annual Trick or Trail 5k & 1 Mile Spooky Sprint lets runners experience the beauty of DuPont Forest in a unique nighttime racing format.

The only race of its kind in the region, participants will strap on headlamps and light up the night as they duke it out in the dusk. The twists and turns of DuPont’s famous trail system will dare them to push forward, not knowing what bogies and specters might lurk around each corner! The One Mile Spooky Sprint will be Halloween themed, and a great chance for kids and kids-at-heart to break in their costumes a day early, without stressing about time limits, as this event is untimed!
