Ride into summer fun with the Collier Lilly Ride

Enjoy a picturesque 50-mile OR 12-mile ride on May 25th through the country-side and foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

 

The Annual NCOBS Collier Lilly Ride is on Saturday, May 25, 2018 at 8:30am at Wedge at Foundation in Asheville, NC

 

 

*NEW 12 MILE FUN RIDE*

In 2019, North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) is hosting a brand new twelve mile fun ride and the annual half century bike ride in honor of Collier Lilly. The NCOBS Collier Lilly 12 Mile Ride, begins at the Wedge at Foundation, and flows primarily along the French Broad River. The route follows Amboy Road to Carrier Park and Hominy Park on various paved roads and greenways and off-road packed dirt greenways and side-roads. This route is for the casual cyclist that enjoys riding bikes for the joyful experience and is comfortable riding on paved and off-road dirt packed surfaces.

Join us for the Coastal Cyclists Spring Century! This classic, annual, Lowcountry bicycle ride, formerly known as “The After the Bridge Run Ride”, winds through beautiful Francis Marion National Forest. The event raises money for the support of bicycle advocacy in the Lowcountry and around the state! The ride features beautiful scenery, quiet backcountry roads, multiple well stocked rest stops, post ride meal and entertainment. REGISTER NOW!

ROUTES 

This year’s routes include a 33 miles, 43 miles, a metric century (65 miles), and full century (100 miles). There are optional turns on the route that can make 25 mile or 74 mile routes, also. We will provide route cue sheets at packet pickup or you can grab on the morning of the ride. Below are route maps via Ride With GPS:

**Please note that bathrooms are limited! The HUB has kindly agreed to let us use their restrooms, they have two and open at 9am. Additionally, CTS has two and Bi-Lo is around the corner. Just a friendly reminder to do some business at home.**

 

PARKING AT CTS

Parking will NOT be available in the “Blue” paved lot out of respect for The Hub.  ALL WBLers will need to park in “Red” rider parking and/or Bi-Lo.  If you arrive late and CTS is full you will need to turn around to park at Bi-Lo. See map below.
