The PR-worthy course boasts a net elevation loss making it one of the fastest races around. With its scenic course meandering along the French Broad River and through the heart of Asheville's artistic and cultural hub, this event offers not only a rewarding athletic experience but also a unique opportunity to soak in the local area’s artistry and creativity.

Post Race Festivities
The post-race party following the RAD Half Marathon & 10K is a lively and festive affair that perfectly complements the exhilaration of the race itself. Held at Hi-Wire Brewing in the heart of the River Arts District, this celebration brings together participants, spectators, and the local community. The party features our award ceremony, live music, food trucks, and an exclusive RAD beer for event participants (must be 21+).

Open Hearts Art Center is a nonprofit supportive studio and gallery dedicated to representing and empowering adults with varied abilities to connect to and reach their full potential through the arts. Founded in 2005, OHAC has provided a variety of arts and expression based classes, including painting, ceramics, music, movement, photography, and more to differently-abled adults in Buncombe County.
