"Helps keep me in shape at a time of the year when races are less available."

    The Course

Both courses begin in Downtown Asheville’s iconic Pack Sqare. The 5K course heads north into the Montford Neighborhood while the 10K course follows and goes even further into the Grove Park area. Both routes conclude with a grand finish down historic Spruce Street and back into Pack Square. There will be a water station on the course with water, Gatorade, and snacks. Please note that most streets are open to traffic so please run or walk accordingly.

It ensures that resources are allocated where they can have the most direct and tangible impact, fostering a sense of ownership and empowerment among residents.

The YMCA of Western North Carolina strengthens local communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Every day the Y engages more than 100,000 people – regardless of age, income, or background – to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the region’s health and well-being, and provide opportunities to give back and support the community.

It is the mission, duty and purpose of iDream Athletes Foundation to provide opportunities for Western North Carolina youth and adults who are unable to pay for sporting event fees, coaching, travel expenses and/or equipment to train for and/or participate in our WNC sporting events.
