The Ugly Sweater Run is excited to announce its new race location at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC!
Throw on your ugliest sweater, lace up your running shoes, and join us for the 5th annual Ugly Sweater Run presented by Hunter Subaru! This year’s event features a scenic, mostly flat course running through the beautiful greenways, around the Brevard Sports Complex, and the charming streets of Brevard. With less than 100 feet of elevation gain on the 5k loop, and a double loop for the 10k, it promises to be fun for participants and spectators alike. The all-paved surfaces make it perfect for families, pets and stroller friendly and anyone eager to wear their most festive ugly sweater. Plus, it’s easy to get onto the course to cheer on your favorite runner. Join us for a morning of fitness, fun, and holiday spirit!

The Course
This year's new location features a scenic, mostly flat course running through the beautiful greenways, around the Brevard Sports Complex, and the charming streets of Brevard. With less than 100 feet of elevation gain on the 5k loop, and a double loop for the 10k, it promises to be fun for participants and spectators alike. The all-paved surfaces make it perfect for families, pet and stroller friendly and anyone eager to wear their most festive ugly sweater. It's also perfect for spectators to find the perfect location to cheer on your favorite runner.
While these roads experience very light traffic, we do recommend that participants under 14 stay with a parent or guardian.

How to Participate:
Gather at least 10 participants (students, teachers, parents, friends)
Sign up online + add your school name during registration
The school with the most participants wins $1,000!
Run or walk in your ugliest sweater on December 7th!

With more than 1,200 members, BABRM is one of the largest home builders associations in North Carolina and the 13th largest in the country.
OUR WORK: BABRM connects members through monthly networking and educational events, promotes professional development, hosts community outreach events, advocates on behalf of members, and much more. The BABRM produces and manages numerous community resource events throughout the year including the annual Parade of Homes.
MISSION: As a professional trade organization, the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains promotes excellence within the building industry and provides an educated voice to advocate for members.
It is the mission, duty and purpose of iDream Athletes Foundation to provide opportunities for Western North Carolina youth and adults who are unable to pay for sporting event fees, coaching, travel expenses and/or equipment to train for and/or participate in our WNC sporting events. This tax-exempt non-profit provides needs-based scholarships. The amounts to be gifted are determined on a case-by-case basis through a criteria-selection process.
