What our runners are saying...
The race begins at The Riveter, located in Mills River, North Carolina near the Asheville Airport. The course follows paved rural roads and gravel farm roads that make for a scenic and enjoyable route. A 5K & 10K (double loop) make this a great event for runners and walkers alike. Water Stations will be located at mile 1.5 on the 5k course and miles 1.5 and mile 4.5 on the 10k course. While these roads experience very light traffic, we do recommend that participants under 14 stay with a parent or guardian.
