At iDaph Events, our mission is simple: create fun, welcoming events that encourage people of all ages and abilities to get moving, connect with others, and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.
That's why we're excited to introduce Aetna Moves Henderson County, a new initiative made possible through the generous support of friends at Aetna.
Through this new program, hundreds of complimentary race entries will be available for eligible Henderson County School students, parents, and staff to participate in the 2026 Trick or Trail 5k and 1 Mile races. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a first-time walker, or simply looking for a fun family activity, this program is designed to make it easier for more people to get active, connect with others, and create lasting memories together.
What is Aetna Moves Henderson County? It's a community wellness initiative focused on encouraging healthy lifestyles, family participation, and active living throughout Henderson County. Through Aetna's support, eligible participants can receive a free race entry for the 2026 Trick or Trail event.
Their goal is simple:
Get more families moving. Get more people outside. Get more community members connected.
Because living well is about showing up, being active, and enjoying the experience together.
Who is Eligible?
Race entries will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for:
Henderson County Boys & Girls Club students, parents/guardians, and staff
Henderson County School students
Parents or guardians of Henderson County School students (for them to attend with their youth/students)
Henderson County Schools teachers and staff
We encourage teachers, school staff, Boys & Girls Club staff, parents, and guardians to participate alongside the students they support. Entries are limited and will be distributed through the Boys & Girls Club and Henderson County Schools until all available entries have been claimed.
Why Trick or Trail?
Trick or Trail is one of Western North Carolina's most family-friendly events, bringing together runners, walkers, kids, parents, teachers, friends, and neighbors for a morning filled with fun, costumes, movement, and community spirit. You don't need experience. You don't need special equipment. You don't even need to run! You simply need to come ready to participate and enjoy the day.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and enjoy one of Henderson County's most festive fall traditions, complete with costume contests, family fun, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
