PACKET PICKUP
There will not be a day before/pre-event packet pickup for this event. Packet pickup will be on race day, from 8:30 - 9:30am near the start/finish line, close to Nelon's Feed (519 Maple St, Hendersonville, NC 28792.) Please be sure to arrive early enough to allow time for you to get your things and get them back to your car before the race starts. VIEW MAP
PARKING
There is NO PARKING on Maple Street or by Nelon’s Feed. For the most convenient and easiest access:

Hendersonville Presbyterian Church - 699 N Grove St, Hendersonville, NC 28792
Street parking and parking lots (Azalea Lot) next to N. King and 4th Avenue, are available, as well.
RACE START & COURSE DESCRIPTION
5K
START TIME: 10:00am
Get ready to run through the revitalized Historic 7th Avenue District, experience the breathtaking beauty of fall on the Oklawaha Greenway, and conquer the twists and turns of the Trick or Trail 5k course in Hendersonville, NC. With a mere 105 feet of elevation gain and loss, this course is the perfect blend of nature and pavement, ensuring a speedy and exhilarating race. (UPDATE: This year's course has changed slightly due to impacts from Hurricane Helene. The link for the updated map is below.)
Stroller friendly? Strollers are permitted, but please be aware that part of the course will be run on roads open to vehicular traffic. Additionally, one of the trails is narrow.
Dog friendly? Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.

Spooky Sprint 1 Mile
START TIME: 10:05am
The Spooky Sprint One Mile course in Hendersonville, NC is guaranteed to add some fun to your fitness. Enjoy the sights of the Historic 7th Avenue District and the beauty of fall while racing along a fast and flat course (only 10 meters of elevation gain and loss!). So dress up in your most fun costumes and join us for the inaugural Spooky Sprint One Mile for a howling good time!

There will be one water station just before mile 1, near Sullivan Park and the Boys and Girls Club.
RESTROOMS
Portajons will be available near the start/finish line.
Costume Contest
Costumes are highly encouraged and we have prizes for the best ones! Award Categories include Best-Dressed Kids Costume, Best-Dressed Individual, Best-Dressed Friends/Family, Best-Dressed Pet, Most Original Costume, and 'We can't believe you ran in that costume!'
ART SUPPLIES DONATION
The Boys and Girls Club of Henderson County is collecting art supplies! Our goal is to collect 100 art supply items for the Club. Needed items include:
Artist Paintbrushes
Paper (any kind, including watercolor, pastel, construction, drawing paper)
Sketchbooks
Newspaper
Markers
Elmer's glue (handheld bottles)
Watercolor paints
Cosmetic sponges for face painting
Cotton balls
General school supplies
Help us support the Boys and Girls Club by bringing your supply donations to drop off at packet pickup on race morning!
FARMERS MARKET VENDORS
The Hendersonville Farmers market will be the HendoStrong Market, post Hurricane Helene. While our usual farmers won't be attending, the city is ensuring there will be local vendors and businesses with food, coffee and treats to purchase!
We encourage you to purchase from local vendors and support our local economy during this time of rebuilding.

Prizes this year include gift certificates from Fleet Feet Asheville for the top three Overall Male and Female finishers and the top Overall Masters Male and Female finishers.
The top 3 Overall Male and Female winners will also receive one of these beautifully spooky, locally crafted, ceramic pumpkins!
Age group award winners will receive a custom Trick or Trail pint glass!
