Race Info
Race Start: 8:00am
Course Cutoff: 10:00am
The 5K course will start and finish at the Pardee Cancer Center in Hendersonville, NC. Participants will traverse a picturesque route, meandering along historic streets that wind through the inviting neighborhoods of this community.
- Competitors looking to win overall or in their age group should line up at the front of the starting line as overall winner times are based on gun-time and age group participant times are based on chip-time.
- Have your race number visible on the front!
- It is up to you to know the course and follow the course markings and signs along the route. It will be clearly marked with colored route arrows on the sidewalks and roads, spray paint, tall directional signs and yard signs with arrows. In addition, volunteers, security personnel and police officers will be on the course. Do not run in the middle of the road.
- There is one water station on the course that will be utilized twice. The first time will be at Mile 1.25 and the second will be at Mile 2.25.
- Portajons will be provided.
- Stroller friendly? No problem! Our event is stroller friendly, but we do ask that if you’re not in it to win it, please start towards the back of the pack for the safety of all the participants. However, if you’re a competitive parent-child duo, and plan to be out front the entire race to win overall, feel free to start up front and show us what you’ve got!
- Dog friendly? Furry friends are family too! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to participate with their owner.
Awards
The first 750 participants to register will receive a custom She Slays finisher medal!
All Overall and Age Group award winners will receive a beautiful She Slays mug!
The award ceremony will take place near the start/finish area at approximately 9:15am.
Unable to stay? Overall and Age Group awards may be picked up at Foot Rx Running (1979 Hendersonville Rd, Asheville, NC 28803), beginning Tuesday, April 28th, after 3pm, or you may reach out to support@idaph.net for a payment link to have yours shipped.

Charity Partner
PARDEE HOSPITAL FOUNDATION & WOMEN HELPING WOMEN
At Pardee Hospital Foundation, your generosity goes a long way towards making a real and lasting impact in our community. With every donation, you become a crucial part of our mission to provide essential healthcare services to those in need. Your support is not just a gift – it’s a beacon of hope.
Women Helping Women (WHW) was founded 25 years ago to help low-and-moderate-income women receive critical medical care. Over the years, this program has become a hallmark of the Pardee Hospital Foundation and a significant force for good within our community.
Designed to provide supplementary support for women who require necessary medical treatment but cannot shoulder the costs, WHW steps forward to fill this financial gap in women’s moment of greatest need.
The WHW Fund supports:
- Diagnostic mammograms
- Lab tests, MRIs, CT scans, biopsies, ultrasounds, and endoscopies
- Financial assistance for breast cancer and other medical procedures including surgery, anesthesia, x-rays, implants and devices, therapeutics, and infusions
- Other critical women’s health needs
A Heartfelt Contribution, No Matter the Size
Gifts of All Sizes Matter: Every dollar you donate counts significantly towards our goals. Whether it's $25 or $500, your contribution is a step closer to making someone’s life better.
Breast cancer screening is vital, yet the high costs of mammograms can deter many women from getting this life-saving procedure. The average cost for a mammogram, including radiology services, is approximately $562 – an amount out of reach for many without insurance. By donating to the Pardee Hospital Foundation, you help us cover these costs, offering a lifeline to women in need of these critical services.
