(V11) PARKING LOT ATTENDANT 2

Parking Lot Attendant - (Sunday -6:00am-8:15am) - Oskar Blues - TVS parking area **must start ride after 8:15am** No riders are allowed to park at or near Oskar Blues on Sunday, they all need parked at the Auxiliary lot. They are also not allowed to park in the TVS paved (the area you are at) or grass parking lots. If a rider comes to you to try to park, you will need to direct them to head back out onto the road to go to the Brevard Sports Complex and school to park. See maps below.

Volunteers/Vendors/Staff should have a parking pass on their vehicle dashboard allowing you an easy way to just let those folks go through. Not everyone will have these parking passes on dashboard.

Note: in the video the volunteer references that when ‘lots get full’ you will send folks to the auxiliary lots. We used to use some parking at Oskar Blues -- grass lot but we can’t use that lot anymore.

Rest Stop Directional Support - RS2 (Sunday - 9:00am - 1:00pm) - Kanuga Conference Ctr - Assist riders coming up to rest stop and guide where to place bike, restrooms, nutrition, etc.

5:45am-8:45am

V1 - Traffic Control // Mountain Industrial Blvd

You will assist with the main traffic control at the front of Oskar Blues. When the riders leave between 8-8:10am you will direct them off of Industrial Blvd onto Old HVL Road. See course markings/signage. They are going LEFT when they leave. You will be standing closer to Old HVL Road and assisting with car/vehicle traffic flow. You will also not let folks park at the church next door (on Helen Lane). Please check with Daphne on all your need to know info about police/Fire support/vendors coming in to OB/grass parking lot/etc.

V7 - Walnut Hollow - Directional Support

The riders will be coming from E. Fork Road onto Walnut Hollow. They climb up the back side of Walnut Hollow. I would like for you to be at the top of Walnut Hollow before they decent down Walnut Hollow to go onto Island Ford Road. You are cautioning them of the steep downhill.

P10 - P1 (shift 1) - Parking | TVS Grass parking area at Industrial Blvd (on the way in to Oskar Blues)

P1: OB: At the grass parking lot - as of right now no one is able to park here on race morning. If this changes, I will update you. You will direct cyclists to turn around and go park at the other parking lots at the Sports Complex, School, etc. Bring a hat, and a chair!

If there is a vendor/volunteer or an employee at Oskar Blues coming in on this road - you can let them go to Oskar Blues to park and set up. I have sent ‘parking passes’ to vendors that will be coming in on ride morning - they may have these on their dashboard to identify themselves. Not everyone will have one of these.

None - you will stand between the Davidson River School and Pisgah Forest Elem School road that is on Ecusta Road and direct cars into the parking lot for the Pisgah Forest Elem School. There is no parking allowed at Davidson School.
