12K Course – 7.4 miles
This route is a true tour of Brevard—taking runners from the heart of Downtown through quiet neighborhoods, winding greenways, and open country stretches. One highlight includes a stretch through the East Main Street Historic District, showcasing early 1900s Colonial Revival and Craftsman homes—a glimpse into Brevard’s rich architectural history. The course features a mix of streets and greenway paths, offering both shady sections and wide-open views. A mid-race turnaround keeps the energy high, and gentle elevation changes (about 384 feet total) provide just the right amount of challenge without being overwhelming. Expect a course that keeps you engaged from start to finish, with a mix of twists, turns, and straightaways perfect for settling into a strong rhythm.
5K Course – 3.1 miles
The 5K route showcases some of Brevard’s favorite running spots—starting Downtown, weaving through neighborhoods and greenways, and circling back along classic local streets. Along the way, runners will pass through the East Main Street Historic District, with its collection of early 1900s Colonial Revival and Craftsman homes, adding a touch of history to the route. This approachable course is great for seasoned racers and new runners alike. It features mild hills (192 feet total elevation change) and a mix of flat stretches, with a water station near the halfway point. You’ll experience the perfect blend of community charm and a fun, rewarding finish.
Water Stations - There will be one water station that will be utilized by both the 5k and the 12k routes. The 5k will be at mile 1.3. The 12k will pass by the water station at miles 3.4 and 5.4.
Restrooms - Portajons will be located near the Start/Finish line.
