Assist with handing out race shirts and goody bags from 7am-9am.
During the race at approx 9:10am until 10:30am - help with handing out medals at the finish line and then assist in clean up inside the Trot Shop.

Water Station
Pinchot and Woodvine
- Drive to this spot - park on side of HOLT LANE (it is a side street close to these roads)
- Time at station - must arrive at 8:30am to set up.

- Water Station will be utilized 2x! You will be busy!
- There will be safety vests in your water station buckets that you can put on while volunteering.
- We will deliver tables, water containers, cups, water/gatorade/trash cans on race morning.
You can also bring your own boombox/music // decorations // costumes// etc. We HIGHLY recommend wearing something fun or your non-profit/company logo’d branded items!
How do we set up and serve at our water station?
You will have a plastic bin that has some water station supplies in it. Look thru that when you arrive so you know what is in there.
Follow instructions on the easy Quick Guide for set-up and serving.
In case of Emergency - Dial 911, then call/text me to update. In an instance of a runner having a non-emergency injury or wanting to drop out of the race, please call or text me (828) 450-7514, so we can arrange pick-up.
If you have an AED, please bring with you to have at your water station.
Getting low on water? If you only have one blue water jug left… and there is still a lot of time left in the race, let us know so we can bring you more water! Please do not wait until you have run out of water to let us know that you need more water. It will take us time to get more to you!
Wrapping up and packing up: Please pick up trash - cups and wrappers within one mile radius of your water station. Bring these items with you back to the Trot Shop and unload there for us.

Direct runners on the course at this intersection, hold traffic/cars as needed. Return to race village after the last runners has gone by and help at finish line either with medals/awards/post race food when done.

Arrive at start line by 8:45am. Race starts at 9am.
Lead the Fastest MEN around the course, then go back to sweep/find the last runner. We will have a Bike Lead for the Women this year too.
