* From the Front Entrance, go right at the front desk and follow the signs.
* From the Hilton Parking Garage, take the elevator and press L for Lobby.

- Race Merchandise is available for purchase in the Trot Shop. Pre-order yours HERE and we'll have it ready for you at packet pickup.
- Participants must register online HERE before arrival at packet pickup. The race is expected to sell out by race day.
PARKING
- All runners must be parked by 8:30am.
- Biltmore Park Town Square provides ample parking, either on the street or in one of the parking decks - all within a short walk of the start line.
- No parking is available at the start and finish line. Handicap parking is available near Athleta, LOFT, and Barnes & Noble.

- Start/Finish: 8 Town Square Blvd, Biltmore Park Town Square in Asheville, NC.
- The South Asheville Turkey Trot course is USATF Certified!
- You'll begin near Fleet Feet Asheville, weave your way through neighborhood streets in and around the Biltmore Park community, and return to Town Square to finish near the Trot Shop.
- Competitors looking to win overall or in their age group should line up at the front of the start line. Overall winner times are based on gun-time and age group winner times are based on chip-time.
- Stroller friendly? No problem! Our event is stroller friendly, but we do ask that if you’re not in it to win it, please start towards the back of the pack for the safety of all the participants. However, if you’re a competitive parent-child duo, and plan to be out front the entire race to win overall, feel free to start up front and show us what you’ve got!
- Dog friendly? Furry friends are family too, and are welcomed as spectators on the sidelines. Due to the congestion and safety concerns, dogs cannot participate in the race itself.
- Follow course markings and race signs with arrows. It's up to each runner to know the route.
- Have your race number visible on the front, on your outer layer of clothing!
- Portajons are located near the finish line across from Club Pilates.
- The Fleet Feet water station is located at approx. mile 1.5 and mile 2.5.
Best dressed turkey contest
In it for the fun and not to win the race? The South Asheville Turkey Trot presented by Hunter Subaru features a “Best Dressed Turkey” Contest each year!
The Best Dressed in turkey-themed costumes and attire for both award categories will receive special prizes! Get the family together, throw on all your turkey swag and show up to kick off your holiday with this fun annual tradition as you gobble and trot your way through Biltmore Park! You know you love a little friendly competition with friends & family!

Best Dressed Turkey Group
The Top 3 Best Dressed Turkey winners will receive one of the following:
- $25 Regal Biltmore Grande gift card
- $25 Luella's Bar-B-Que - South gift card
- $25 Mosaic Café gift card
The Best Dressed Turkey Group winners will receive a $150 gift card to Nine Mile South Asheville!
Cheer squad challenge
Biltmore Park neighborhood families will be competing in the Cheer Squad Challenge to encourage participants and spread holiday cheer along the course. Remember your favorite! You'll cast your votes after the race for the best family and friend cheer squad in the neighborhood. The winning family will receive gift certificates to Sensibilities Day Spa South!
Awards
We will announce the overall winners and "best dressed" winners at 10:15AM near the finish area.

POST RACE
Grab that well-deserved finisher medal, strike a pose at the photo backdrop and get ready for some post-race partying. We've got you covered!

Asheville Poverty Initiative
(12 Baskets Cafe)
At Asheville Poverty Initiative, our mission is to build community and educate about the realities of poverty.
In our Realities of Poverty education program, we educate K-12 and college students, business employees and owners, faith communities, elected leaders, and community members about economic justice issues and solutions. We know most knowledge comes from learned experience. That's why we partner with individuals with first-hand knowledge of living in poverty in Asheville to provide opportunities for transformative group education.
12 Baskets Cafe, located at 610 Haywood Road in West Asheville, is open to everyone. We embrace all walks of life - those facing hunger, seeking belonging, or eager to help. We are community-powered and use 100% rescued food in a space where everyone contributes as they can.
We are open for sit-down meals and groceries every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM, brunch on weekends from 10 AM-12 PM and dinner on Wednesdays from 6-7 PM. You can come for a free, delicious, hot meal and leave with whatever groceries you need. While the food is donated, it costs Asheville Poverty Initiative a little over $10 per plate to cover costs like rent and utilities. Your support is crucial in ensuring our programs continue!
